Delete your data

Renewal Mate, by AppForge Digital. Last updated 12 September 2026.

Where your data lives

Renewal Mate keeps your documents on your own device. There is no account to sign in to and no copy of your wallet on our servers, so deleting is something you do in the app rather than something you have to request from us.

Delete one document

  1. Open Renewal Mate.
  2. Tap the document you want to remove.
  3. Tap Delete, then confirm.

This removes the document, its preview photo and its scheduled reminders from the device.

Delete everything

  1. Open Renewal Mate and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete all documents, then confirm.
  3. To clear the app completely, also uninstall it: Android Settings, Apps, Renewal Mate, Uninstall. On the web, clear site data for this site in your browser.

What is deleted

  • Document details — title, number or plate, name as printed, jurisdiction, class, issue and expiry dates, notes.
  • Preview photos stored on the device.
  • Household labels you added.
  • Reminder settings and any pending notifications.
  • Calendar entries you exported are yours — delete them in the calendar app that holds them, as we cannot reach back into it.

What is kept, and for how long

Scan photos are not kept. A photo you scan is sent over HTTPS, read once to pull out the printed fields, and not stored as a file or a database row afterwards — so there is nothing left to delete.

Purchase records are the one exception. If you bought the unlock, Google Play and RevenueCat keep the record of that transaction for as long as their own policies and Australian tax law require, so that the purchase can be restored and refunded. That record is the purchase itself — it contains none of your documents. To have it removed, contact Google Play support about the order.
